[OCRcommunications] Velos Update: MRN auto-population under Patient Demographics

Dear Research Community,

Velos is making an update to the Patient Search page to enable easier registration of Research participants to a study. The search page will allow you to automatically search for a UTSW, Parkland, or Children’s MRN by typing in the respective MRN to the search field. Upon selection of the patient to register to Velos, the remaining applicable institutional MRNs will auto-populate under the Patient Demographics page. This will simplify the registration of a research participant to a study and streamline the integration with the respective UTSW, Parkland, and Children’s Epic systems. The attached document provides an example of how this functionality will work. The change will be implemented after 6pm on Monday, March 18th.
