[Histonet] RE: Is antigen retrieval open on the Leica BOND RX IHC autostainer?

My understanding is that you can use any HIER you want on the Bond RX, but
they highly recommend their own reagents since they're optimized for it.
We ended up buying a Biocare Decloaking Chamber for offline retrieval as we
some of our antibodies were suboptimally retrieved on Bond RX. However, you
should discuss your decision with Leica's tech support and they can modify
the software to allow you to use antigen retrieval of your own using the
Open Containers. We have asked them to modify the software for one of our
ISH protocols and they did.

I hope this helps.
