[Histonet] Linear Slide Stainers

Hello...
 
I've been told that the GLX and SLS Linistat linear slide stainers are
being discontinued.  I was going to order a GLX for our new Mohs lab,
and now I'm unsure what to purchase instead.
 
What are others using?  Do you need a fume hood?  If I go formalin free
and xylene free, do I need a hood?  
 
I appreciate any suggestions you may have.
