Oggetto: [Histonet] Anti-fluorophore antibodies (for MOM work)

Dear Histonetters,

I'd like to ask for recommendations for anti-fluorophore antibodies. I'm
planning to use a fluorophore-labelled primary antibody for mouse-on-mouse
IHC. This is then detected using a labelled anti-rabbitIg (or whatever host
it is) ab.

Apparently Dako has discontinued the unlabelled rabbit anti-FITC antibody
that I understand used to be popular in these applications, and I was told
the remaining HRP version doesn't work well for subsequent detection with an
antiIg ab.

Has anyone tried the rabbit anti-Alexa488 antibody by Molecular Probes /
Invitrogen? Or are there any other good anti-FITC abs available?

With best regards,
Mikael Niku
