[Histonet] Decolorize PAS

Hello all,
            My pathologist asked me to de-stain a PAS-stained section of
liver and re-stain it with a trichrome. I've never decolorized anything
other than an H&E. Would I still use acid alcohol and if so for how
long? I've read that potassium metabisulfite will take out excess
Schiff's but I've never tried that and I don't have any. Any
suggestions/tips?
