[Histonet] mechanism of staining for Sanderson's with acid fuchsin counterstain

All,

I would like to know the mechanism of staining for Sanderson's with acid
fuchsin counterstain used with undecalcified PMMA embedded bone or
bone/scaffold samples.  For example, osmium tetroxide stains lipids.
