Thanks for your input on LDL antibodies.   I need to keep looking; more specifically I am looking for LDL receptor antibodies for use on paraffin sections.  I have found some companies that say their antibodies would "probably work" but have not been tested on paraffin.   Some of the responses follow:

Chemicon International has a few LDL abs.  Check with their tech people to see if any have been tested on paraffin.  They offer a 50% rebate on any antibody that may not have been tested in a certain application.
