Hi Angela,
Are you sure the positive staining in your test slide is glycogen? Liver
cells can have all kinds of endogenous pigments, some of which are Pas
positive.

I've got a head-scratcher here.
We stained three human liver cases with PAS w/ diastase. We mount our
patient tissue on the same slide below the control tissue. We do the
diastase digestion in a Coplin jar and all the slides were in the same jar.
Our Pathologist showed me the slides. The glycogen was removed from the
control tissue, but the test tissue was still positive.
Does anyone have an idea what happened?
