[Histonet] Diastase digestion

I've got a head-scratcher here.
We stained three human liver cases with PAS w/ diastase. We mount our patient tissue on the same slide below the control tissue. We do the diastase digestion in a Coplin jar and all the slides were in the same jar.
Our Pathologist showed me the slides. The glycogen was removed from the control tissue, but the test tissue was still positive.
Does anyone have an idea what happened?
