[Histonet] "Predictation"

I have done it in one circumstance only, and that is when I "know" a lesion is a melanoma, but there is no pigment + some other confusing feature. I have then said something like "will confirm with immunochemistry - further report if negative".
So, even then, I'm "coming clean".
In general, if you don't need the stain, why ask?

This may sound like a stupid question, but do your pathologists ever predictate results of immuno and special stains before they receive them? In other words, dictate what they anticipate the results of the stain to be and then dictate changes later if necessary? 
I have been asked to pose this question. You guys are the first I turn to!
