Colleen,
I have question for you on your c-fos protocol. 
               "I do a steam retrievel using a 6.0pH buffer for 30 minutes
followed by a 10 minute cool down"
Exactly what buffer do you use and how do you go about the steam retrievel?  I used to place my coplin jar (with slides and buffer) in a beaker of boiling water - is that what you do?
