[OCRcommunications] Planned Velos eResearch System Downtime

Dear Investigators and Research Personnel,
With the new electronic IRB system, UTSW ETHOS, going live on Monday, December 23, 2024, the Velos eResearch system will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, until 6:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2024.
Additional Systems Impacted During Downtime:

  *   EPIC: During the upgrade weekend, research procedures/visits cannot be scheduled for new research participants in EPIC unless they are registered and associated in Velos by 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 20.
  *   IRB: As the IRB system will also be down during this period, no new studies can be sent from Velos to the IRB system, and no study updates will be received from the IRB system during the downtime.
