[OCRcommunications] UTSW Hospital OR Training Requirements

Dear Research Community,

We wanted to pass on some information about the new Operating Room (OR) Training Requirements for UTSW Hospital OR settings. In order for researchers to enter the OR, they must complete the "OR Observer Orientation Session" that is offered once a month. If anyone from a research department needs to take the session, they must email Barbara Crim (Barbara.Crim at utsouthwestern.edu<mailto:Barbara.Crim at utsouthwestern.edu>) and state their name, and their title, and she will add you to the next available session. Please also CC Alicia Bosse (alicia.bosse at utsouthwestern.edu<mailto:alicia.bosse at utsouthwestern.edu>), our Ambulatory training coordinator on the e-mail.

Please note - the above OR Training requirements only apply to UTSW Hospitals. For queries related to Parkland or CMC requirements, please contact their research offices.
