Always use Ethanol (the drinking kind) not reagent alcohol.  It makes a huge difference

Does anyone have any tricks for Copper staining?  Our techs always struggle with it. Sometimes it looks good right after staining, but it fades after a few days. Other times after lengthy staining we just don't get good results.
