I remember adding a couple drops of ETOH to the water bath; it's been a while so I am not sure the exact protocol. (it will spin the tissue).

We are having issues with mice and rat brain sections. There are folds in the tissue. We just can't seem to get a flat section without folds. Any suggestions?
