[Histonet] Reprocessing tissue

Has anyone had success with just melting down unfaced, underprocessed blocks for reprocessing and sticking them in NBF for processing without taking them through the clean cycle? The senior tech is doing this and I am concerned about our processor getting paraffin in the NBF and other things.
