[Histonet] Specimen Triage

We are trying to create a consistent and efficient process for the triage of Radiology specimens going to Cytology, Surgical Pathology and Microbiology. I would really like to hear how other hospitals are handling this. Do you have a central drop off location and if so who handles this? Does radiology take them to the appropriate depts? Do you have the same process 8am-5pm and after hours or do you have different processes?
I appreciate any feedback you are willing to give.
