Hi Michelle,
Yes, the CLIA regs are such a joy to read aren't they? To my knowledge
there is not a plain English version of them (less all the "if, or, or,
and..." fun on every line). However, the CAP is basically enforcing CLIA
regulations, so if it were me, I would start with the CAP molecular
checklist and go from there, delving into the CLIA regs for clarification
on details.
