[Histonet] RE: cilia for EM

My colleagues tell me a curette is the best instrument to use to collect ciliated cells from the nasal turbinates for electron microscopy.  Presumably this would avoid the problem of bristles coming loose.  I think this is the device described in this publication (please correct me if I'm wrong):
