There are at least two excellent papers that come to mind utilizing Mineral Oil:
"Histology without Xylene" by Rene J. Buesa
"Experience with an Automated Microwave-Assisted Rapid Tissue Processing Method" by Morales et Al

I have never heard of using mineral oil in microwave processing. I only
use ethyl and isopropyl and paraffin.

Dear People from
Histonet
Do you still use
Mineral Oil in your Microwave Processing Protocol ?
Or you only use
ethyl alcohol ~ Isopropyl alcohol and Paraffin .
I will apreciate
any advice.
Thank you all
