They sell water based anti static sprays for computer clean rooms and such.

 They work great.  Just be sure to spray the floor and the soles of your
shoes, as well as the microtome and benchtop.  Also, some microtomes have a
grounding strap or a place to attach a grounding strap.  Or you can wear a
ground strap on your wrist, although this is a little restrictive.  The
best solution IMHO, ground your microtome and use professional anti-static
spray (Not from the grocery store.)
