Hi Jackie, I haven't done a lot of eyes, but mainly sheep lenses. I seemed to have more trouble with crushing artifact when trimming in- so I tried not to trim too close and do the closer trimming on the microtome- I also trimmed before they got too hard from fixing. Tom T

I have a study coming up where obtaining perfect lens histology is critical.  We do a pretty good job routinely, but since the lens is of interest, I would appreciate any tricks and techniques that can help us improve our paraffin lens histology within intact rodent eyes.
