[Histonet] Flourescence

So...just got presented with a task...while my confocal experience is very limited I'm willing to learn new things....the PI wants to fluorescently (sp?) tag our drug to see where it ends up in the cell.  Will a tag survive processing or does it need to be labeled somehow after it's processed?  I can use all the help I can get!  Thanks histo-peeps!
