[Histonet] re: xylene substitute for processing

We have been processing without xylene on ThermoFisher Excelsior processors for a couple of years.   We go directly from 100% isopropyl alcohol into paraffin. A thermo sales rep should be able to give you some literature on this.



When we first got the processors we did side by side validation and found no difference in special stains, immuno or H&E.
