[Histonet] Has anyone traveled to Virgin Islands for assignment?

Hi,
Just curious if anyone has traveled to St. Thomas or St. John on a Histology travel assignment? Please tell me your experience good or bad. Rental car insurance, electricity, water bills, taking pets etc.. I heard utilities are 6 times higher than US and travel only covers 200.00 monthly.  Is it all paradise??
