We package ours up to be incinerated. Not so much because of biohazards, but our patient's names are on all the slides.
Thanks,
Wanda

Subject: [Histonet] Slide disposal

Can anyone tell me the proper way to dispose of slides?  Are they considered biohazardous waste?

Thanks so much,
Lyn
