The specimen must not come in contact with water during fixation and

Fixation: 100% ethanol

Processing: 100% etoh- 5 min.
Xylene: 2 changes, 30 min. each
Paraffin: 3 changes 30 minutes each.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [Histonet] gout processing procedure

Could someone share their gout processing procedure? The specimen is
fresh, not in formalin.
