[Histonet] Sodium borate?

Help!
Does anyone know a substitute for sodium borate in the GMS stain? Ours got unknowingly thrown out by our out-date police and he didn't tell anyone, and now we need it ASAP. And we don't have half of the stuff for the Warthin-Starry either. (Derm lab. We do this stuff oh so often, but now of course it is a stat case.) Or if anyone knows a halfway easy stain for, I'm assuming, spirochetes.
