We file them along with the regular H&E.... usually used when we have send out or re-cut requests. They rarely get scratched (but you must handle them with care).

Subject: [Histonet] filing unstained slides

To All,

Just wanted to know how other labs are filing their unstained slides?? If filing along with stained coverslipped slides wouldn't the sections on the unstained slides get scratched?? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Jenny
