Whatever solution you use it is probably best if you can leave the steel molds in an oven for s short time to remove excess wax before the final step. This will decrease the amount of solvent or soap you need to use.
Or you can just heat in soapy water, allow to cool, remove wax on surface of fluid and then quick rinse.

Ours go on the VIP during the cleaning cycle. Then we dip them in a bucket of alcohol containing mold release and spread them out to dry on a clean towel.

Does anyone in histoland clean their embedding molds in a dishwasher? Otherwise, besides placing in the cleaning cycle of your processor, how do sites clean their molds?? Simple, but plaguing question!!!!!!! Thanks all!
