Bleach works great for the fixative and early alcohol series containers, , dilute 50/50 with water and swish it around, let it sit a while. If it's yellow fatty slime in the later absolute alcohol baths,  you must rinse the containers with 50-100 ml of absolute and repeat until a bit of the swill mixed with water doesn't turn white.
