within a high volume veterinary lab. The position is located in the *Seattle

*Position:* Histology Department Manager

*Reports to:* Medical Director



*Qualifications:*



   - HT certification
   - 5 years experience in a histology lab
   - Experience needs to include managing routine histology procedures such
   as grossing, slide prep, special stains, IHC processing



*Responsibilities:*



   - Oversee the general functions of the histology lab, including hiring,
   training, evaluating employees, equipment maintenance, assuring compliance
   with policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment.
   - Working closely with the Anatomic Pathologists to manage the day to day
   operations, as well as make recommendations for improving the histology lab.
