[Histonet] 3D reconstruction from histology slides

Hello All,

We want to do a 3D reconstruction from serial histology samples. On the we I have found Amira, BioVis 3D and Surf Driver software. If anyone could offer any input or  recommend one of these program it would be greatly appreciated. If there are any open source programs that could be used that would also be helpful.
