There have been several inquiries on this list about Neo-Clear, an
aliphatic type (not a limonene) xylene substitute that is offered
under the old Harleco label. (I'm not sure who owns Harleco these
days.) There is a specific mounting medium (Neo-Mount) offered with
it.
The MSDS is unclear about the flash point of Neo-Clear, though it's
higher than xylene's.
There are numerous brands of aliphatic xylene substitutes, and they
aren't always interchangeable with each other, particularly in
distillation routines for recycling.
Whoever it is makes and markets Neo-Clear, I have no commercial
connection with them.
