	You can't decalcify a snail shell.  You can decalcify a bone because there is a fibrous matrix which is infiltrated with calcium salts.  But a snail shell has no such matrix.  It is almost 100% calcium salts.  If you decalcify it, you simply dissolve it.  There would be nothing left at all.
