i would definately always use at least 2 xylenes and change the f irst often where most of the paraffin is removed, or at least rotate

In an effort to reduce space usage, it has eliminate one of two xylene steps (and lengthen remaining xylene) when de-waxing paraffin sections. I d protocols that only use one step of xylene. Are two stric necessary? I would like to know the reasoning.
