Julie, you might try getting the Sequenza system, as it uses capillary
gap action and the slide is mounted with the tissue against a face
plate.
What I would probably do is float them off and put them in multiwell
plates, and do the staining free-floating. Then when you're finished,
mount them on to slides, or visualize them in the well plate if you can.
