[Histonet] bat brain

Hi everyone
  So what is the best histological procedure for bat brains?  Fixative, duration of fixation, processing schedule, section thickness, stain, staining protocol...  I have checked the literature but most authors used frozen tissue, not paraffin...  All help is appreciated :)
