We have the Sakura Xpress and the Histogel processes fine. If you have
an Xpress just be sure you use a minimal time in the pre-processing
solution as the morphology changes slightly if there is over-use.

Subject: [Histonet] Histogel and microwave processing
Hello everyone, I need help if anyone is willing. We currently process
our FNA cell blocks in "Histogel" using an overnight cycle, our
cytopathologist would like his results faster. Does anyone know if
histogel is compatible with microwave processing techniques, and if the
cellular morphology is compromised in any way with such a method?
Thank you in advance for your input.
T. Kirk
