David Ahmed at MDA asks, as so many have, about congo red controls.
Human amyloidosis isn't very common, and tissue often isn't very good. It's
fairly easy to induce amyloidosis in experimental animals (such as mice). Does
anybody use such material for clinical controls? I would think it
scientifically acceptable to do so.
