Once DAB reacts with the Ag-Ab-detection complex, "that's it", it cannot be removed without at least removing the IHC complex.

Question: I need to restain slides for IHC. How do I get rid of DAB prior to
restaining without killing the tissue? Tried a slide I did not need using
DAB-away 1and 2 plus decolorizer (Dako) and yes, it took the DAB out ,but
also took the tissue.

Thanks,

Bernice
