I want to make sure I'm, totally CAP compliant, soooooo here's my
question.
Has anyone gotten cited for heating their citrate buffer or EDTA (for
antigen retrieval) in an unvented microwave?
I'm getting the impression that CAP wants all microwaves vented even
though they throw out that blurb about "unnecessary if only
non-hazardous solutions are being heated, i.e. water, some biological
stains, paraffin sections".
