That's what a former CLIA inspector told me, too.  Also, if you are CAP, you
have deemed status by CLIA, but they still COULD come in and inspect you!!
You have to follow any local, state or national laws that are applicable to
you, as well as being CAP certified.

I was told by a CLIA person in OKC that if the description becomes part of
the parthology report that it is complex testing and must be CLIA qualified.
