[Histonet] Double Labeling Same Species

Hello,

 

I do a lot of double-labeling- but my anti-bodies are from different
species

(i.e; Cfos (rabbit) Oxytocin (mouse) FosB (goat)), with fantastic
results.

 

I am attempting to stain mice brain tissue for a different P.I with :

Cfos(rabbit) with DAB

GFP (rabbit) with CY3

AVP (rabbit) with Alexa 488

 

I did a trial run with

Cfos (rabbit) cy3

GFP (rabbit) 488

I am having a terrible time with cross staining/ cross reaction.

 

The professor has no problem staining with GFP and AVP (both rabbit). I
am using a combination of his protocol with my cfos protocol.

Any suggestions?
