[Histonet] preservation of the stratum corneum in skin cryosections

Hello.

Does anybody have a method to keep the stratum corneum attached to the
epithelium using in vitro skin cryosections?

I am freezing in vitro skin without fixation in isopentane chilled in liquid
nitrogen. I don' t see any stratum corneum in my 5-7um HandE stained
samples.
