[Histonet] alcohol fixation and confocal microscopy

Hello everyone
 
Some one had told me that alcohol fixation will not work for confocal
microscopy.  Is there any truth to this?  I know that formaldehyde and
paraformaldehye fixatives lead to autofluroescence, so why would alcohol
fixation cause problems.  Any advice would be helpful.
