I have just accepted an employment offer in a lab, that uses a microwave for histoprocessing.
I have never worked with tissue that is processed in the microwave. Do you use the same paraffin for infiltration and embedding? If not what paraffin is recommended? How does the tissue cut? What are some of the problems to look out for? Are you also drying slides in the micrwave? What are your procedures?
