We received the new lot of CD31 from Santa Cruz, and it is working, though we
are going to have to use it at a more concentrated diution than our current
(1:750).
We haven't had the time to see what the new concentration will be, but I'm
guessing somewhere around 1:200 or so. If the CD31 you have is not working,
Santa Cruz will replace it to try it for yourself. We got a couple of vials for
free as replacements.
Another alternative is CD34 (can give you some of the same information,
depedning on your work). Abcam has a great rat polyclonal that works well in
FFPE mouse tissues.

I've been waiting for Santa Cruz to grow a new goat for the CD31 antibody
that USED TO work on FFPE murine tissue - but with no luck.
I've scoured the internet for two days looking for a viable replacement -
nada.
Does anyone have a method for murine CD31 in FFPE that works without the
Santa Cruz antibody? I've tried the Pharmingen anti-mouse with AR - but
it didn't work. Boo.
