[Histonet] pathology tech

hello everyone,
I have  a problem with one of the pathologist at DDEAMC(Fort Gordon). She
insist on having the path tech  stand beside her to close the cassette for
her when there is a ton of other work to do like keepin the morgue up to
par. Can anyone help me explain to my department head that is right or safe
because of too many hands handling small biopsies
