[Histonet] Whole bee embryo fixation

Hello,
Has anyone had any experience with whole bee embryo fixation?  We can 
bleach off the outer membrane which is no problem.  However we are having 
trouble with fixatives penetrating the inner membrane.    If we make a hole 
in it, the embryo explodes.  Can anyone help?
